This rug is very soft, the feel reminds me of a thin fleece material. The colors are a brighter white than the picture on the website. The pattern is pretty and it looks good in a small hallway. It has a non slip backing that keeps it in place even when my dog lays on it and gets up- it does not slide under her (she is 50 lbs). The rug is very thin, I would not use it for sitting on for comfort. There is no padding. I got it for my dog because she has trouble sliding on my wood floors and it works great for her. This will not be a good choice for someone wanting a thick rug. If you need something that is to be decorative or just a thin soft layer then it is a good choice.

Gorgeous rug. Adds a whole new look to the room just by adding it to our living room. The rug itself is well made. It seems to be woven nicely with no loose strings. I did have a little spill on it but it was easy to clean up just with spot cleaning with a little dawn soap and a cloth. So no worries about it staining too much since it is washable. I would definitely recommend this rug if your looking to spruce up a room.
